Applied Cannabis Cultivation Research Laboratory (LIACC)

DESCRIPTION
The Applied Cannabis Cultivation Research Laboratory (LIACC) at CERZOS (CONICET/UNS) is dedicated to applied research in the cannabis industry. Our goal is to meet the needs of various industry stakeholders by validating tools, methodologies, inputs, and protocols across different cannabis production scales.
AVAILABLE SERVICES
-
Agronomic Evaluations: We conduct agronomic performance evaluations under indoor, greenhouse, and outdoor cultivation conditions of different varieties, imported or registered, under various environmental and management conditions.
-
Morphological and Chemotypic Characterization: We offer genotyping and variety registration services, including germplasm conservation.
-
Evaluation of Inputs and Equipment: We assess lighting, containers, substrates, fertilizers, phytosanitary products, biostimulants, and other technologies applicable to cannabis production.
-
Project and Cultivation Protocol Evaluation: We provide project advisory and evaluation services, including the application of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).
-
Harvest Scoring: We perform macro and microscopic analysis of inflorescences, defect detection (insects, humidity, fungi, color, over-fertilization), and organoleptic analysis. We also link with cannabinoid and terpene quantification, heavy metals, and pesticide presence analyses.
-
Inflorescence Production: We produce inflorescences to meet the needs of other research projects that do not include cultivation.
-
Genetic Improvement and Molecular Analysis: We offer genetic improvement, molecular analysis, and genotyping services.
ADVANTAGES
- Innovation and Quality: We use advanced cultivation methodologies and analytical technologies to ensure precise and high-quality results.
- Adaptability: Ability to tailor evaluations and services to the specific needs of each client.
- Experience: We have highly trained human resources with extensive experience in the cannabis industry.
