Soil, Plant and Environment Analytical Services (LABSPA)

DESCRIPTION
The Laboratory for Soil, Plant and Environment Analytical Services (LABSPA) was officially incorporated into CERZOS by Resolution 2457/13. This laboratory carries out chemical and physical analyses in water samples, soil samples, plant  and other materials, such as fertilizers, manure, etc.

APPLICATIONS

With the data collected from the analyses carried out in this lab and their correct interpretation, it is possible to determine not only the correct formula of  nutrients to be applied in the soils and the right way and moment of application but also the correction mechanisms to apply in cases of nutrient excesses.
Our analytical services are mainly required by local and national researchers, public organizations, agro-industrial companies, input-supplier companies and professionals from the agricultural sector.

BENEFITS
In Soil: The data collected from our analyses are a diagnostic tool for the determination of crop nutritional needs, thus favoring sustainable soil and environmental conservation.
In Plants: Macro- and micronutrient determination in whole plants and organs (seeds, leaf, stem, etc.) helps not only to follow-up but also to adjust crop nutritional needs.
It also helps to understand the nutrient dynamics in every production system.
In Water: the data derived from our analyses help to evaluate water quality for irrigation and animal consumption and/or for herbicide application.
In Fertilizers: the data derived from our analyses help to evaluate herbicide chemical composition and quality.
